Amni Care 9.1 - February 2026

Amni Care 9.1 introduces the email as contact method for patients and close relations, which provides increased flexibility and choice in how patients and informants prefer to be contacted by Amni Care. The version also comes with several new instruments and further development of existing functionality that make Amni Care even better.

New functionality

Email as contact method

Ability to register email addresses for patients and close relations and select this as the preferred contact method. Notifications and reminders are sent to the person’s chosen contact method. If the personal data (PU) integration is used, the registered email address in 1177 will be retrieved automatically.

Patient administrator

New role that can be assigned to limited administrators: “Administer patients” This role allows the user to delete patients and instruments. Requires a commission purpose of the type “care and treatment.”

Deleting confirmed instruments

Administrators can, when needed, delete instruments that have already been confirmed.

Navigation from Webdoc

Navigation from the Webdoc EHR-system with automatic events such as registration, admission, and program start.

AI import of information sheets

Create information sheets even more easily using AI. Sections with text are created automatically, and any images can be added afterwards.

Reminder schedule for treatment modules

Ability to set a reminder schedule for treatment modules. Reminders are sent according to the specified schedule until the module is completed or marked as done (see below). Reminder schedules can be configured at the start of a treatment/treatment module and adjusted later if needed, like journals.

Marking treatment modules and information sheets as completed

Both recipients and clinicians can mark treatment modules and information sheets as done.  It indicates that the module has been carried out, allowing the clinician to choose to start the next module. An information sheet marked as done is ready to be closed and potentially maintained.

Further development of the “create custom instruments” functionality

New question types: Interval question, Numeric question, and Date question

Changed question types: Max number of characters in free text question, Value in text format on answer options.

Read mode: Sections are displayed in read mode after AI import or when editing a draft. To edit a section, it must first be unlocked. When there are many sections, they are also divided into pages. These changes improve interface performance.
